Zephyr’s Zest is one of the last of the solidly built Holman and Pye designed Oyster 39’s. A well proven bluewater cruising yacht with a centre cockpit for safety and a very spacious interior.
Two double cabins and two heads. The forward vee berth has an infill piece to convert it into a double berth and the spacious en-suite aft cabin is fitted with both a double and a single berth which can be converted to a full width king size double bed. In the saloon the sofa’s can also be converted to a further double and single berth providing berths for 7 in total. A walk-in workshop completes the accomodation.
The ketch rig is easily handled and there is a bowthruster to help with docking. This boat has been in the same owbership for the last 17 years and is usually just sailed by a couple.
The keel is integrally moulded with the hull and fully encapsulated. No keel bolts to worry about and with teak decks for comfort and safety that are still in very good condition.
The Volvo 62hp diesel engine has only done 2,600 hours from new.
Fitted ith B+G electronics, an SSB radio, a reliable NECO autopilot and a Hydrovane self-steering system.
The sail inventory is quite extensive with recent cruising sails, plus downwind and storm sails.
