Django is one of the last of the Flica 37 offshore cruising catamarans built in the late 1980’s by the Palamos Boatyard in Millbrook, Cornwall, UK, to a Richard Woods design.
A proven easily handled offshore cruising catamaran with a solid GRP hull below the waterline, foam cored above and a sturdy 7/8th’s fractional rig with massive internal chainplates and twin backstays allowing for a furling mainsail and furling genoa.
The interior layout has 4 double cabins (one currently used as a work room) a single head with shower, and with the galley located in the starboard hull it provides for a spacious saloon.
The current owners bought the boat in Florida in 2008 when she had just been refitted and repowered and have since just cruised the Caribbean islands..
The Volvo D1-20 18hp engines now have just 1,500 hours each. There is a watermaker, SSB, solar panels on a stern arch, dinghy davitts and in recent years the vessel has had new batteries, solar panels, refrigeration, electric windlass and a new mainsail. Listed with with a good AB aluminium RIB and Tohatsu 9.8hp outboard for just USD 60,000
