1972 Nicholson 32

GRECIAN is a good example of the Nicholson 32. This model is a Mk X built in 1972 and having just crossed the Atlantic from the UK double handed.

Nicholson (Nick) 32’s are world renowned as a boat that can be sailed almost anywhere and many have been. Revered for their immensely strong construction, and ability for safe and easily handled offshore passage making.

435 Nicholson 32’s were built over a 20-year production run, one of the most successful designs of it’s time.

This example is a Mark X built with the later modified mouldings for the hull and coachroof providing slightly more volume and improved sailing performance.

Providing accommodation for 4 in a vee berth in the fore cabin and convertible berths in the saloon, with a deep cockpit this boat is ideal for sailing with a young family or for short-handed long distance cruising.

The Sabb diesel engine has only done 2400 hours and the boat is fitted with a solar panel and LED lighting.

With recent standing and running rigging, new headsail furling gear, and new bluewater spec sails, plus Aries wind vane self-steering gear, a new life raft and a good sized Avon roll up dinghy with outboard, this is an ideal yacht for a couple or a young family to cruise the Caribbean on a limited budget.

Lying in Antigua and listed for sale for just USD 29,950.
